Crossing Companions is designed to help families quickly find trusted pet cremation providers. This page explains where review information comes from and how we verify listings.

Review Sources

Current rating and review counts are sourced from public profiles (for example, Google Business listings) where available. We label the source next to each rating summary.

Verification Checks

Business identity and contact details
Service availability for the listed city
Core offerings (private, communal, aquamation, pickup)
Certification claims when provided

Integrity Rules

No fake, purchased, or manipulated review activity
No undisclosed paid placement tied to review ranking
Listings may be deprioritized when trust signals degrade

Updates

We update listings on a rolling basis. When we have a verified timestamp, it is shown directly in the provider card.
